Robert Martin Culp (August 16, 1930 – March 24, 2010) was an actor, scriptwriter and director born in Oakland. He is probably best known for his TV work opposite Bill Cosby on the series I Spy that ran in the 1960s, and on Greatest American Hero in the 1980s.
Robert was born in Oakland on August 16, 1930, to Crozier Cordell Culp, a lawyer, and his wife, Bethel Martin (Collins) Culp. He spent his childhood in Berkeley and graduated from Berkeley High School.
