The Tsuji Photo Studio was a portrait studio from (at least) the 1920s to 1942. About 1941 it was sold to Kinji Utsumi, and became the Utsumi Photo Studio. Because of Executive Order 9066 imprisoning Japanese Americans on the west coast during WWII, he had to give it up.
The studio was at two different locations over the years. In the 1920s, it was at 331 - 6th St. in the 1930s and 1940s, it was at 814 Franklin St.
