1950s KTVU Oakland Captain Satellite Birthday Card
Captain Satellite was an hour long live children's television program in Oakland from 1958 to 1968 which was hosted by Bob March. The outer space themed television series on KTVU entertained thousands of Bay Area children. NASA provided the show with live visits from astronauts and film clips during the era of the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo space missions.
