Saint Luke's is part of the Anglican Province of Christ the King. Saint Luke's Church is a Anglican Catholic Church that is part of the Province of Christ the King. This jurisdiction was born out of the Anglo-Catholic movement that left the Episcopal Church in 1977 over theological innovations such as Women's Ordination. Unlike the Anglican Communion, the APCK presents itself as a Catholic and Apostolic Church with a sacramental theology similar to the Orthodox Churches and the Roman Catholic Church.
