The Richmond Audubon Society promotes the enjoyment, understanding, and preservation of birds, other wildlife and habitat through birding, education, advocacy, and fellowship.
Meetings
Richmond Audubon Society meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the third Thursday of the months: January, February, March, April, May, September and October. Meetings are held at St. Luke Lutheran Church 7757 Chippenham Parkway, at the Custis Rd. and Chippenham Parkway intersection. Chapter activities and local bird sightings are discussed, which is usually followed with a program that covers birds, other wildlife, the environment, conservation efforts, etc. Refreshments are served afterwards.
Field Trips
Richmond Audubon runs an extensive schedule of field trips to birding locations in Richmond and the surrounding area. The public is welcome to attend any Richmond Audubon Society field trip. For information on upcoming trips, visit our web site.
