Farmers markets are great places to get fresh produce, meet interesting people, and stretch out your legs. The produce is often cheaper than at a grocery store, and you can bargain with the vendors (especially near the end of the day at the market). Although farmers markets aren't around every day (unlike a grocery store), they do have a very regular schedule, usually occurring on the same day of every week.
