Description
Santa Cruz branch of this large health club chain. Contains large selection of machines (cardio and weight training), free weights, pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, childcare (during designated hours only), and locker room. Also holds several exercise classes per day, including aqua aerobics, yoga, kickboxing, spinning/cycling, step, etc. Check the website for class schedules.
Costs
Membership to the gym can be pretty expensive. Usually it requires an initiation fee of over $150 in addition to monthly dues, which tend to run over $30 per month for the least expensive package. Day passes are about $15 each.
