Amy Stark has been painting in watercolor for almost 30 years, and encaustics for over 15 years. Having spent many years in the field of graphic design, Amy has developed an eye for imagery, and a concise way of making a visual statement. This transfers well to her paintings, whether they are landscapes, architectural elements or a lone fishing boat, they are intimate visions of the world in which she travels.
Amy has exhibited widely in the United States, and in Greece, with paintings in private collections from New York to New England, from Athens to Amsterdam. This year Amy was selected to be published in the “Best Of Worldwide Landscape Artists Book” by Kennedy Publishing. She has twice has been invited to exhibit in Italy, at the Florence Biennale.
