Eagle Creek near the San Lorenzo River

The source of Eagle Creek is a spring. It flows through Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park to reach the San Lorenzo River.

Eagle Creek is a popular name. There are at least seven streams in California by that name. In Santa Cruz, a campground and a trail get their name from their location near Eagle Creek. There is no surviving story on how the creek was named.
