Description of Work
Elizabeth Kadetsky attended UCSC and wrote for City on a Hill Press, eventually graduating with a BA in Latin American Studies. She spent time in the 1980s locally doing yoga. This time period serves as the foundation of her memoir First There Is A Mountain: A Yoga Romance, which contains passages about Santa Cruz. She does not currently reside in the area, but has returned for book readings. She is currently working on a novel, which, like much of her work, takes inpiration from her time in Santa Cruz in the 1980s.
