Description of Work
Emil Edgren (b. 1919) worked as a photographer for the United States Army Pictorial Services during World War II. He also worked for International News Photos, the Associated Press, the United Press International, the San Francisco Call Bulletin, the San Francisco Examiner and the San Jose Mercury News. His favorite place to shoot locally is Capitola Village, because, "It's a beautiful place. And if you like action, it's all here."1
