The official name is Fall Creek Unit of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. It is a park administered by Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. For history on the name, see Fall Creek. It is the northern unit of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, and its primary feature is the clear running Fall Creek which flows over granite, as opposed to the majority of other creeks in our area. Dogs and Biking are not allowed at the park. Trail maps are available at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. There is no camping, no visitors center, and no other facilities at Fall Creek Unit.

In 2010, Debra Collins was hiking in Fall Creek Unit and fell into a ravine near the remote area of Lost Camp. She was there for six days before two hikers discovered her. She did survive. When hiking in Fall Creek Unit be sure to let someone know where you will be going. A note on your car at the least. Bring along food, water, and warm clothes. A whistle is useful for signaling if hiking in unfamiliar areas.

The Lime Kilns are next to the south fork of Fall Creek One of the Lime Kilns
