He started out as a folk singer, making an album with ex Beatle George Harrison as a producer, then became a rock star in the legendary Santa Cruz band Snail, and for the last chunk of history he has played a sort of honky tonk blend of folk, country, and rock, leaning more towards the country side.

Larry plays a weekly gig every Thursday at Britannia Arms in Aptos.
