Loch Lomond is the City of Santa Cruz's drinking water reservoir. Swimming and other body-contact water sports are not permitted. Only electric or manual powered boats are allowed. There are boats for rent at Loch Lomond. The road to Loch Lomond is not recommended for towing trailers.
