Patrick Trefz is a professional surf photographer for Surfer magazine. He has released a book of photography titled "Santa Cruz: Visions of Surf City," produced a film about surfers who are also artists titled "Thread" (which includes a profile of local artist Jim Denevan), and he has curated local art shows in addition to exhibitng his own work.
