There is a difference between a Real Estate Agent and a Realtor®. A REALTOR® is a member of local, state and national professional trade associations. While both are licensed to sell real estate, a Realtor® has access to higher levels of education and professional development through classes and resources through the local, state, and national Realtor® organizations. Only members of the Realtor® organizations can be a Realtor®. The "®" after the word "Realtor" shows it is a registered trademark.
