Bio Scott Kennedy (1948-2011) was elected to three terms as a member of the Santa Cruz City Council. He sat for two terms (1991-1998), serving as mayor in 1994, and a third term (2001-2004), serving as mayor in 2004.
Kennedy was a co-founder, in 1976, of the Resource Center for Nonviolence and served as its Middle East Program Coordinator until his death in November, 2011.
