An aquarium set up as part of the Long Marine Laboratory with exhibits focusing on the importance of scientific work relating to the oceans. Features a touch pool, extensive exhibits, school/family programs, gift shop, and the world's largest whale skeleton (affectionately named "Ms. Blue"). Animals on display in the aquarium include fishes, cephalopods, jellies, crustaceans, aquatic flora and other critters. If you take a guided tour, you might get to see the dolphins and sea lions.
Admission is free to UC Santa Cruz students with a student ID.
