Description of Work
Susan Hillyard started out photographing scenes of the psychedelic 60s in San Francisco, often using color infrared film, which further added a psychedelic element to the photos. After retiring from a career as libraraian at UCSC, Hillyard returned to photography and exhibiting her work. In 2010 she published a book of photography, The Spirit of the Wild Mustangs.
