Lila Stuart first opened Wild Earth as a workshop and small retail outlet in the Sash Mill in Santa Cruz in 1974. Lila has passed away, but the business continues under the supervision of her daughter Lorinda. Over the years many local artists have worked at Wild Earth making the little ceramic fantasy sculptures, and they can be purchased online or locally at the businesses Homescape Statuary, Pottery Planet, and The Craft Gallery.
