Located in Magnolia, Discovery park is a tranquil escape from the city. Prior to be used as a park, the location was used as a military base.

The loop trail is the most popular hike through the park. The 2.8 mile hike offers views of the forest , meadows, and Puget Sound coupled with plenty of good spots for picking blackberries. It's recommended to take a detour about halfway through and head down to the beach.
