A hole-in-the-wall amongst hole(s)-in-the-wall: in the heart of the International District. Not at all a nod to Chinatown cuisine, it stands out because it doesn't try to be. It has cozy booths that hug along one side of the small space, decorated in bright and eclectic colors and paintings -- meshing the Old Country roots feel of original 'za with decor straightoutta the home of a world-traveler. This place is comfortable, inexpensive, lovely, and delicious. Their thin crust pizza doesn't swim in grease, and their ingredients feel like they were bought at the Market. Support these one wonderful pizza makers, oh, and buy a home-made cookie too. Beer and wine available. BEST slice in the 206!
*Note: on a hot day in Seattle (we're talking 70 degrees or above), the inside is stuffy -- so take it to go! Or take a slice outside, sit on the bench, and people watch.
