Dianne Goldman Berman Feinstein (née Dianne Emiel Goldman; born June 22, 1933) is an American politician. She serves as the senior Democratic United States Senator from California, a seat she has held since 1992. From 1978 to 1988, Feinstein was the 38th Mayor of San Francisco, California.
She has been a war profiter. A hypocrite that simultaneously worked to restrict the average citizen's right to own and carry guns, while holding a concealed weapons permit in San Francisco, something virtually impossible for a normal person to get. In 1984, Feinstein got a pretty cool birthday gift: a bunch of buffalo, which now live at the Golden Gate Park Buffalo Paddock.
- "Too much, Too fast, Too soon." in reference to gay marriages taking place in San Francisco.
Feinstein is mentioned in The Mayor of Castro Street: The Life and Times of Harvey Milk, a history of Harvey Milk's life by historian Randy Shilts.
