Dianne Goldman Berman Feinstein (née Dianne Emiel Goldman; born June 22, 1933) is an American politician. She serves as the senior Democratic United States Senator from California, a seat she has held since 1992. From 1978 to 1988, Feinstein was the 38th Mayor of San Francisco, California.
Feinstein was the president of the Board of Supervisors at the time that George Moscone and Harvey Milk were assassinated by former supervisor Dan White, and thus took on the acting role of mayor.
She has been a war profiter. A hypocrite that simultaneously worked to restrict the average citizen's right to own and carry guns, while holding a concealed weapons permit in San Francisco, something virtually impossible for a normal person to get. In 1984, Feinstein got a pretty cool birthday gift: a bunch of buffalo, which now live at the Golden Gate Park Buffalo Paddock.
Quotes
