The Ice Cream Bar serves up both traditional and less a traditional flavors (e.g. Blackberry & Fresh Corn swirl) as well as a bunch of old-fashioned soda fountain drinks like malts and floats. In the winter, they serve really excellent hot chocolate and hot butterscotch as well.
In keeping with the 'Bar' of their name, they also serve alcoholic beverages, including both boozy shakes and more traditional cocktails. (These are called 'Remedies' on the menu.) They make all their bitters in-house!
They also serve a limited food menu which includes a rotating seasonal soup and a really awesome grilled cheese.
Fun fact: the shelf with the caramels on it behind the ice cream case actually swings open to reveal a hidden (storage) room.
A second location is supposed to open in the Castro some time in 2015.
