This is considered THE brunch spot in the Upper Haight by many locals. It carries an extensive diner-esque menu, with several vegetarian and vegan options (they boast the best tofu scramble in San Francisco).
The wait can be long on the weekends. The process is different from other those at other popular brunch spots in that you just wait in a line that leads out the door, rather than signing your name on a list.
There is a Mission location, called Pork Store Cafe Valencia, but it's located on 16th Street.
