The Learning Assistance Center (LAC), located in HSS 348, provides multiple tutoring resources to students, free of charge. They provide many services such as:
- Work one-on-one with a tutor
- Work in a small group with a tutor and other students who need help in a similar subject
- Provide resources to find tutoring for subjects they do not cover

The LAC is located in HSS 348
You can go into the LAC anytime when they are open. Their hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.. You can also schedule an appointment by calling (415) 338-1993 or emailing tutoring@sfsu.edu.
Due to COVID-19, they are offering tutoring through the Tutoring and Academic Support Center (TASC). They are holding their sessions on Zoom. Here is how you can access it for virtual learning:
