Planned Parenthood provides high-quality sexual and reproductive healthcare in all 50 states throughout the country. Planned Parenthood of North Florida provides reproductive health care services in 25 North Florida counties: Alachua, Baker, Bay, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Escambia, Flagler, Gadsden, Holmes, Jefferson, Leon, Levy, Marion, Nassau, Okaloosa, Putnam, St. Johns, Santa Rosa, Suwannee, Volusia, Wakulla, Walton, Washington
Services & Information Available at Tallahassee Health Center:
Pregnancy testing, options counseling and emergency contraception (morning after pill) are available on a walk-in basis Monday-Friday. All other services require an appointment.
Education & Training:PPNF's Education Department provides education on a range of sexual health topics in a variety of educational and community settings. They provide medically accurate, fact-based sexual health information about sexual development, healthy relationships, methods of birth control including abstinence, and the importance of accessing and managing good healthcare. Educational programs can be scheduled for groups or organizations by calling the Education Department (located in Gainesville) at (352) 376-9000 ext. 16 or by email dir.education@ppnfl.org.
Planned Parenthood Action Network:Planned Parenthood believes it's long past time that everyone had equal and open access to the information and services they need to make conscientious, safe and responsible decisions about sex and reproduction. The Planned Parenthood Action Network makes it easy to stay informed about issues affecting family planning, sex education, and reproductive health and freedom in Florida and Washington D.C. There are more than 200,000 activists in Florida; more than 18,000 are right here in North Florida. Joining the Action Network enables advocates to help effect change through emails, letters and calls to decision-makers from City Hall to the White House. |
