RedEye Coffeeor RE3EYE "Drinking coffee locally and changing lives globally."
A popular local gathering in the heart of Midtown (across from Whataburger)

| As a relative newcomer to town, RedEye Coffee has quickly become a Tallahassee institution, where students get their work done and movers and shakers meet about the business of the day. If you drop by for coffee, you're pretty likely to see someone you know.
RedEye advertises that their products are socially and environmentally responsible. Additionally, they are organized as a non-profit organization - starting life at Element3 Church (E3, thus RE3EYE) that gives all profits away to three worthy causes (Porch de Salomon in Panajachel Guatemala, multiple organizations to end child trafficking in Western Africa, and Serve Tallahassee, a ministry of Element3 to break the cycle of poverty in Tallahassee).
RedEye keeps a chest by the front door where you can donate non-perishable food items that will be home delivered to families in need right across the street in the Frenchtown neighborhood.
RedEye hosts occasional free Saturday evening music events - "best of Tallahassee's known, and undiscovered, talent" - called "Live at REDEYE!"
Best of Tallahassee winner in 2011.
Limited parking directly in front of RedEye, lots of parking available just south of the building in "Manor at Midtown" parking lot. |
