Angel Island State Park became a California State Park in 1954.

Two ferry services can bring you to the island:

1. from San Francisco, Oakland and Alameda - Blue & Gold Ferry Service
2. from Tiburon - Tiburon/Angel Island Ferry Service

Park staff and volunteers provide interpretive programs and conduct tours for schools, clubs and other groups.
