By the 1980s Lasalle's had branches in Westgate, Woodville, and North Towne. It had also branched out into neighboring communities of Bowling Green, Tiffin, Sandusky, and Finlay, [1]

By 1982, the Lasalle's location used the name of Macy's until it was sold, along with all other Toledo locations, to Elder-Beerman two years later. As an Elder-Beerman store, the location lasted until 1997, when it was closed due to the lingering effects of the chain's bankruptcy in 1995. [2]
