This is the last porn theatre in the city.
Toronto Landmark
Metro Theatre opened in 1938, one of the last art deco theatres built by architects Kaplan & Sprachman before World War II.
"The Metro started life with a bang when it had the misfortune to have a massive fire on opening night."

Just in Time for TIFF !
Biking through Koreatown this afternoon, I spotted this sign installation/repair truck ahead of me blocking my imaginary bike lane. I took these phots on the way back. The sign installer said they hadn't decided what they were doing with the sign. They might try to save it. Or, the Metro may finally get new signage.
