For regular folks, it's often hard to locate the venue, confirm the date, decipher how to submit a deputation or register to attend and so on.

A Community Consultation on Planning & Development in the Annex

The City has begun gathering input on HOT, or Housing Opportunities Toronto.
Public meetings on Affordable Housing were held:
- May 14, 2008 at the Scarborough Civic Centre
- May 28, 2008 at the North York Civic Centre
- June 4, 2008 at the Etobicoke Civic Centre
Not exactly a regular a public consultation: Special TTC funding crisis meeting was held on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 10 a.m. at City Hall 100 Queen Street West , Committee Room 1. The public attended and it was standing room only.
Scarborough Public Consultation on TTC Service Cuts - On Monday, September 10, 2007, Councillor Michael Thompson (Ward 37, Scarborough Centre) hosted a public consultation meeting on proposed TTC service changes. The meeting took place inside the Scarborough Civic Centre's council chambers, 150 Borough Drive from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
TTC Chief General Manager Gary Webster and the TTC Chair, Councillor Adam Giambrone, joined Councillor Thompson to talk about how the City’s cost containment measures will have impact on the TTC and, in particular, transit services in Scarborough.
