Toronto Chinatown Festival

Locations : This year's Festival has two locations inside Chinatown. The larger area with the stage takes up the northbound vehicle lanes of Spadina Avenue between Dundas Street West and College Street.
There is a smaller Festival stretch of mostly vendors on Huron Street between Dundas Street West and D'arcy, which is Less than a block long as the vendors end at the laneway, but there is a stage there, which will have programming through the weekend.
The vendors on Huron Street each have regular sized tents, making it a tight squeeze for people shopping. But hey, that's par for the course in Chinatown on any weekend!

Toronto Chinatown Festival 2009 flyer. The Toronto Chinatown Festival in 2009 entered its 9th year is an annual celebration of Canada’s diverse cultures and communities.
The not-for-profit Festival not only pays tribute to Chinese culture, it is also a tourist attraction for the City of Toronto.
Presented by the Toronto Chinatown Business Improvement Area, this fun-filled family event is free to the public.
It attracts over 100,000 people over the weekend with its colourful display of multicultural entertainment, food, street market and community celebrations.
The 2009 event featured cuisine and traditional arts and costumes from the eight provinces of China.
