The Nut Tree was once a small family amusement park near the Nut Tree Airport.

The original Nut Tree was closed in 1996; the buildings were torn down in fall of 2003, and rebuilt around 2006/2007. As of December 2007 there are many stores and eateries in the new village shopping area, as well as a new amusement park.

They retained the train and even some of the original staff. The majority of the amusement park attractions are geared to young children.
