Wally was born November, 1937 in Russia (Ukraine).

He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy on March 4, 1958. He was discharged September 14, 1990. His rank on discharge was Lieutenant. His theatre of service was in Canada. He received the C D Medal. 

Wally died April 5, 2024.

As noted in his obituary, Waldemar (Wally) Michael Brant spent 35 years in the Royal Canadian Navy serving his country. He was a communicator, Submariner, navigator, pilot, and Operations Officer. After he retired, he took on a role with his wife as a live blood analyst and spent 20 years assisting her in her health care practice.

Wally was the husband of Betty Brant.

Captain Beverly ‘Betty’ Ann Brant

Betty was born July 27, 1945 in Parry Sound. Betty identified that she had 7 years service (27  years stroked out).

But, Betty is identified in the record at right as having served in the Canadian Forces for 24 years from 1967 to 1991.

Betty was the wife of Wally Brant.
