DICKIE, PTE GARNET

Garnet Thomas Dickie was born March 27, 1918 in Magnetawan, the son of Joseph Parick Dickie and Caroline Maud Porter. (Caroline Porter was from Maple Island.)

Garnet is identified as living in Magnetawan, a labourer, in the 1945 Voters List. In the 1958 Voters List Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Dickie are identified as living in Magnetawan. Garnet is described as a Marine Engineer.

He died November 7, 1974 and is buried in Spence Cemetery.
