Frank Roland Daniels Harrison was born February 23, 1896 in Whitestone, the son of Robert and Emma (Morley) Harrison of Whitestone.

Frank received his medical examination November 2, 1917 with his actual date of enlistment identified as March 18, 1918. When he enlisted he was assigned to the 1st Depot Battalion, 1st C.O.R.
On June 25, 1918 he suffered bronchitis which did not improve by July 2 so was transferred from the hospital he was in to the Spadina Military hospital
He was discharged Dec. 24, 1918.
Frank does not appear to have seen service overseas.
