MUSGRAVE, MICHAEL
Michael Louis Musgrave first came to Dunchurch when he was 20 years old. In1983 he bought a hunting cabin on Shady Maple Trail. Then in 1989 he brought his family Susan Florie Musgrave and their 3 children to Dunchurch. They bought a home beside George and Dorothy Hosick in Dunchurch, directly across from the ‘Hitching Post’, where the family lived for a number of years. Although the family moved away from the area they always kept the property on Shady Maple Trail as their cottage. Mikes parents Robert and Ruth Musgrave resided in the cottage for 20+ years while Mike and Sue where discovering Canada. Mike and Sue built their permanent home on Shady Maple Trail in 2010 and became full-time residence 2014.
Corporal Michael Louis Musgrave joined the Canadian Forces in 2006 as a vehicle technician, his first posting was Borden then Kingston Ontario. He worked for the 2EW Communications Division Army. He retired from the military after 4 short years to move back to Dunchurch to assist his mother in caring for his father who was dying of cancer. (Mike has worked for several companies in the Parry Sound area including Weeks Construction and Hammond Bus Lines and now works for Miller Waste as a District Equipment Manager and resides in Whitestone.)
