2010-01-23 17:43:13   I did not visit this particular Midas shop but I have visited several others and walked away. The business model they use is to assume you know nothing about your car or cars in general, give you a laundry list of things needed before they've properly evaluated the car, quote you a top-dollar price (often higher than even a dealer would charge) and try to push you to agree. I'd advise getting a 2nd opinion before agreeing to have work done. Also the few Midas techs I've ever talked to give the impression tehey don't have the knowledge to work on the higher-tech and imported cars. In fairness their shops are independent so you might get a really good one. —grzyb
