The Woodland Sports Park is a park located on the east side of East Street at the south end of town, bounded on the north and south by Sports Park Drive and County Road 24C. This park is inside the Woodland city limits only because the Woodland city limits were specifically extended around it; directly east and west of the park, the southern boundary of Woodland is County Road 24A/Sports Park Drive.

Woodland Sports Park features lighted fields for baseball, softball, basketball, and soccer, as well as a playground, restrooms, and a parking lot. Additionally, the Woodland Community and Senior Center and the Woodland Off-Leash Dog Park are both located inside the Woodland Sports Park.

Trees planted at the Woodland Sports Park include the invasive weed species Flowering Pear/Callery Pear (Pyrus calleryana), as well as two species native to WoodlandValley Oak (Quercus lobata) and Interior Live Oak (Quercus wislizeni). Additionally, two tree species at the park are native to other parts of California: Coast Live Oak (Quercus agrifolia) and Coast Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens). Other non-native plants at the Woodland Sports Park include Trident Maple (Acer buergerianum), Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum), Red Maple (Acer rubrum), European Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus 'Fastigiata'), American Hornbeam (Carpinus caroliniana), Atlas Cedar (Cedrus atlantica), Deodar Cedar (Cedrus deodara), English Hawthorn (Crataegus laevigata 'Paul's Scarlet'), Maidenhair Tree (Ginkgo biloba), Eastern Black Walnut (Juglans nigra), Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica), Southern Magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora), Canary Island Pine (Pinus canariensis), Chinese Pistache (Pistacia chinensis), London Plane (Platanus × hispanica), Edible Pear (Pyrus communis), Scarlet Oak (Quercus coccinea), Holly Oak (Quercus ilex), English Columnar White Oak (Quercus robur 'Fastigiata'), Northern Red Oak (Quercus rubra), Cork Oak (Quercus suber), Little-leaf Linden (Tilia cordata), Chinese Elm (Ulmus parvifolia), and Saw-leaf Zelkova (Zelkova serrata 'Wireless').

The tree list above does not include the trees in the Legacy Tree Grove at the Woodland Off-Leash Dog Park. See the dog park page for Legacy Tree Grove information.
