Fletcher Elementary School was an elementary school of the Taylor School District and one of the district's original schools, opening as a four-room structure in March 1938 with expansions occurring regularly from the 1940s into the 1960s. It has sat vacant for several decades, but will be demolished soon.

The former Fletcher Elementary School, one of the original school buildings in Taylor, will be razed thanks to the $100,000 grant through the Blight Elimination Program Grant by the Michigan Land Bank Fast Track Authority.
