Interstate 75 is the main Interstate Highway through Downriver, running north and south, entering from the north in Melvindale and from the south in Rockwood. Major cities heading north are Detroit, Flint, Saginaw, Bay City and Sault Ste. Marie; major cities heading south include Toledo, Dayton, and Cincinnati. Beyond Ohio, I-75 runs all the way south to Florida, where it ends just short of both Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
