Empire Ridge - Yuba-Sutter

Empire Ridge is a ridge about 3.5 miles long, located about two miles east of Woodleaf. Empire Creek flows alongside it to the west. Its elevation is 3,402 feet,¹ but its prominence above the surrounding countryside is only about 50 feet. Empire Ridge and Empire Creek are both named after the historic Empire Ranch.
