Hallwood is an unincorporated area in Yuba County. It is located on the north bank of the Yuba River (opposite Dantoni), southwest of Loma Rica, west of Browns Valley, and northeast of Marysville. Its elevation is 112 feet.

The native plant community of Hallwood is central oak woodland.
