Lake Francis is a lake formed by a dam on Dobbins Creek in southern Dobbins. Its elevation is approximately 1,700 feet. Lake Francis RV Resort includes a campground with tent sites, RV sites, and cabins. Features include a swimming pool, a dining room, hiking trails, and a saloon. Canoes, kayaks, and one- and two-person paddleboats are available for rent. The native plant community at Lake Francis is yellow pine forest.
