Oregon Creek is a tributary of the
Yuba River middle fork that is about 18 miles long. It begins in
Sierra County and flows into the
Yuba River middle fork near
Camptonville. There is a day-use recreation area at the confluence of Oregon Creek and the Yuba River middle fork, adjacent to the historic
Oregon Creek Covered Bridge. This area features 16
picnic tables and a
swimming and wading area. The gates are closed seasonally to vehicles, but the area is always open to foot traffic.
Tributaries of Oregon Creek in Yuba County include Mosquito Creek, Grizzly Gulch, and High Point Ravine.
Our House Dam diverts some water from the Yuba River to Oregon Creek shortly before the creek joins the river.
There is also a Little Oregon Creek in Yuba County.
