Rock Creek is a creek that begins in
Sierra County and flows about 7.5 miles to
Canyon Creek, about four miles east of
Strawberry Valley, in Yuba County.
Little Rock Creek flows into it east of
North Star, near the southeastern foot of
Sugar Pine Peak.
Scales Cemetery and the former site of the town of Scales are located just east of the confluence of Little Rock Creek and Rock Creek. Most of the former town site is on private property, but the cemetery is not.
There is also a creek in Nevada County that is called Rock Creek. This creek is about eight miles long and flows into Camp Far West Lake at the border of Yuba County. This creek does not actually enter Yuba County.
